INFO:
New Jersey Nets' Chris Childs plays the pick-and-roll to perfection as he records his first of two career triple doubles. Admittedly, the home court scorers' table helped him get to 10 assists in the first half. Three of those passes don't look like real assists. But the catch is that Childs got to 14 anyway and his teammates even missed some bunnies which should have been converted. Kudos to Childs as well for doing some of his work with MJ guarding him. This game comes from a stretch of Chris Childs averaging 15.7 points and 10.0 assists per game during the months of February and March, following the Kenny Anderson trade. It eventually resulted in the New York Knicks signing Childs and the playoff trips he had with them. March 13, 1996.
